Shown below are some pictures of some great bucks we have killed in the past. These are by no means all of them. In putting this together I find that some of the really good bucks are missing. I'll try and round up the photos and add later. |
| These bucks are from 1995 to 1997. | |

Bob Crosby killed this 30 inch buck on Maniac Mountain, late afternoon
with a 500+ yard shot. Very very tough place to get a whopper buck
out of. 1995

Bob Tomlin killed this 30 inch buck in 1996 on a drive in "The Jungle".
We drove it to him and he shot it. That buck was going to let me
walk right by him, but I spotted a small buck bedded and drove it out.
The big boy went with it.

Blaine Mattews killed this tremendous nontypical buck in 1997 in Devil's Canyon. (the Devil can hunt there, I won't ever again). The buck was very cooperative, as he went down out of the inaccessible canyon and died within 300 yards of a major horse trail. If he hadn't done that Blaine and I would still be up there eating him. This buck took the 1997 1st Place NonTypical Award from the Wyoming Outfitters and Guides Association. Click here to view full size. |
| Darrell Johnston was riding behind guide Mike Day and another hunter
when he spotted this 33 inch buck bedded 200 yards away. Darrell
quietly pulled the rifle out of his scabbard, got off his horse, sat down,
and nailed the buck. Scared Mike half to death, but that is the kind
of surprises we like. 1995

Bill Frazier shot this nice 26 inch buck in 1995 while leaning over a bush, about 300 yards. Guide Warren and him packed it down one heck of a cliffy mountain while I climbed back to the horses and met them at the bottom. Click here to view full size. |

John Sievers killed this tremendous buck on a very long shot across
a canyon. It was bedded just below the cliffs. This is a prime
example of a buck not having to be wide to be a real trophy. It was
only 23 inches wide, but 25 inches high and very heavy. Great buck!!
